Abstract

Software is the DNA of our Information Society

Most software projects are failing to deliver the expected value. Meaning that companies that we are absolutely depending on to supercharge our region’s economic growth are at material risk if they misfire via their digital infrastructure:

• However, software can be controlled, measured and become a catalyst for innovation,
• There is talent and potential in the area for helping corporates innovate and fertile ground for startups to grow,
• Public and private sectors need to empower this potential. The former by demanding good quality software and competent engineers, and the latter by making sure these are available.
