Celal Cündoğlu has received his BSc in Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University and MBA in Telecommunication System Planning from University of San Francisco.
He has started his career at Visa International in 1992 and upon returning to Turkey in 1998, has worked at various management roles at Information Technology departments of Benkar (advantage), Yapı Kredi Bank and Akbank.
Celal Cündoğlu has joined BKM, as an Executive Vice President, in 2011. During his earlier years at BKM he has carried responsibilities in Information Technology, Business Development and Product Management areas, and currently he is responsible from Payment Platform & Business Development functions
- Imperative to innovate locally to stay relevant
- Local payment schemes will continue to rise and the payment devices and methods will evolve in to new forms
- Inter payment scheme cooperation will define the level of success for conversion to cashless society
